Along with karaoke files, I also like to collect MIDI files. MIDI is an acronym for Musical Instrument Digital Interface, and since it's a fairly common acronym, I'll usually write it in lowercase. I prefer karaoke files because they embed the lyrics, and midi files don't. (If a midi file did contain the lyrics, you could change the file's extension from ".mid" to ".kar", because you really do have a karaoke file!) You can listen to these files using software such as vanBasco's Karaoke Player.

I have posted some of my midi files on the Mystery Master website. Each zip file in the table below contains songs that start with that letter. There is also a featured song for each zip file which you can play and/or download. Though the featured song is shown with underscores and no punctuation (to comply with the UNIX naming convention), the actual songs in each zip file have spaces and punctuation (which is acceptible in Windows). Also, my naming convention for each midi file is "Song Name - Artist Name.mid". If you have a midi file you would like to send me, email it to webmaster@mysterymaster.com.
